Allison Nazarian
Hi, I’m Allison and I am a writer. (Sounds simple, but it took me years to be able to say that and just that.) I use words to help people make money, make sense and make things happen.
I have been in business for myself (and my clients) since 2001, and as a professional writer since 1993. I work as a ghostwriter, a copywriter and a consultant to businesses of all sizes.
Sometimes, people hire me to write marketing copy and to ghostwrite their books, scripts, blogs and speeches. The rest of the time, I write under my own name for women, moms, entrepreneurs and real people. I am the author of Love Your Mess™, a book that reminds us that our messes are lovely and inevitable and, though messy, worthwhile. I also teach writing to groups and individuals, and have developed numerous programs and courses including Write Your Mess™, a program to guide others to use writing as a way to gain clarity, heal, inspire, find their voice and/or simply vent.
On the Education front, I hold a B.A. in English from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.S. from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism. I have been featured in the Wall Street Journal, INC, Entrepreneur, Fortune Small Business and elsewhere, as well as numerous blogs and other on- and off-line publications and media. I also wrote two books on do-it-yourself (DIY) copywriting, including One Minute Copywriter.
Originally from the Washington, D.C. area, I am also a walker, reader, texter, introvert (INFJ), Words With Friends player, Howard Stern superfan, Counting Crows devotee, eater of very dark chocolate, lover of ladybugs, football fan and someday-bookstore owner who lives a very messy life in Florida.
