Don't walk in front of me and be my leader, don't walk behind me and be my follower, but walk beside me and be my Sister.

Ann Evanston

Ann has created and turned concepts into successful start-ups for years. She started in college when she decided to design, develop, brand and successfully implement her own sorority (which is still running on campus 20+ years later, called Zeta Pi), to creating a non-profit organization for homeless pregnant and/or parenting teens, which is now nationally modeled. She started her seminar company in 1998, and developed an international presence as a speaker to large corporations. In 2004, Ann decided to radically change her focus and developed her same programs for entrepreneurs and small business owners. In 2007 is created The Social Networking Coaching Club”, a membership program designed to each entrepreneurs how to market their businesses online.

Her ability to reinvent herself is the true entrepreneurial spirit!

Ann Evanston, MA, has been named by About.com as one of the Top Six Marketing Consultants, Feb 2011, and recognized in the Huffington Post for her unique approach in using Facebook to increase profits though giving. In October 2008 Ann created the Social Networking Coaching Club, a forum where you get personalized support to learn how to “discover your REAL edge” and make more online in less time with integrity.

Ann’s says: Zena is a nickname given to me, it is not spelled with an “X” (secondly because of trademark issues!) but mostly because I am all Warrior and very little princess! Years ago when teaching public seminars a colleague said: “you sure don’t let them complain do you Zena!”, and it stuck! I am one to whip out the sword when people want to be the victim! Your life is yours – no one else’s. Your business success or failure is yours. No one else’s. Nobody controls that destiny but you, so stop blaming it on others!

This nickname and my passion for Warriors in Leadership and Entrepreneurship lead to the branding you see here today.
I remember when I realized that being strong, smart and sexy was NOT a bad thing. Growing up as girls we are often taught we cannot be all three. Choosing that I can has freed me from stereotypes and conditions as a woman! I have been with the same man for 15 years, and post the “Earlism of the day” on my facebook profile. We are in love like when we met! We are huge gardeners and love to work out, only getting smarter as we get older!

I am a rebel, never dreaming of the white wedding, or the white picket fence for that matter! But I have also always been VERY strategic and visionary. Combined with my natural ability to read people (intuition) my ability to help my clients see in them what others “need” to see is a powerful one-two combination.

I take great pride in my customized process, making sure everyone feels I am speaking to them!
